We Have The Solution To The 2011-2016 GMC / Chevy Duramax Engine

Know Your Vehicle, And Your Risks

Do You Have a 2011 to 2016 GMC or Chevy With A Duramax Diesel Engine? If so, you likely know that these vehicles suffer from a potentially catastrophic issue with their high-pressure fuel pump. This failure causes the fuel system to become flooded with metal particles, which circulate through the system. We want to help you get ahead of the issue and prevent the catastophic failure from happening in the first place.

Warning Signs Of Pump Failure

If you suspect a high-pressure fuel pump failure, you will have no choice to get your vehicle serviced by a professional mechanic. However, there are warning signs that may alert you to a current or coming problem. If your vehicle is hard to start or fails to start, or if you are getting any of the following trouble codes, you may have CP4 failure: P0087, P0088, P0191, or P128E. Although rare, some pumps may seize up and burst their aluminum housing.

You can also remove the CP4 pump and the fuel pressure regulator and conduct a visual inspection. If the pump’s body casing is cracked or if you find metallic debris on the pressure regulator, the odds are good that your pump has failed.
